Car Enthusiast’s House

One of my early minimalist modern architecture designs. Idea in this case revolves around an individual who is passionate about cars. 3-car-wide garage with an elevator to a futuristic R&D lab/shop, along with room for 12 cars below ground.

One of the most prominent design features of this house is a 2-storey double pane glass wall that separates a 20×50' lap pool from two basement levels.

House includes only the essentials: a continuous exposed garage-living room which eventually transitions into a kitchen, and then the rear patio. Patio walks out onto a large, 20x50' lap pool, that is separated from the two basement levels by a two-pane glass wall, allowing for natural light to enter an otherwise dark space of the basement, all while creating dramatic ambient lighting!

Second level features an open-concept loft space with a bedroom, bathroom and an office space.

House boasts oversized 15' ceilings which can accommodate vehicles as large as a lifted Ford F-250 Crew Cab.
